Its been a while since I wrote anything and a lot has changed since my last update. Firstly we've cleared Nax, a few times in fact, so I'd like to give huge props to all our raiders who've worked so hard to get this achievement. Secondly we brought down the first boss in Ulduar, which is also a great achievement. Good Job you guys... People have left us ( a few) but more have joined us which is awesome. However, I am putting a Kibosh on any more deathknight, we have too many already. Most people know my feelings about the Death Knight class. The only Death Knights that will get an invite are from people who already are members of this guild. Please keep up with our forums, lots of very important stuff posted there. I'd also like to thank all the folks who dont raid and help everyone who's leveling. This is a huge deal and is often overlooked. I personally would like to say Great Job and thank you so very much. ~Stanky |

After much gnashing of teeth our officers (at least most of them) decided that due to our skinny raiding nature, that we should open EVERYTHING except for 10 man Naxxaramas to pug. That includes 25 man Sarth, Nax and Maly. The only thing we ask is that you DO NOT PUG 10 man Nax as we will be running that on our Regularyly scheduled raid nights (Weds/Thurs 8:30pm Server Time and 11:30am Server Time Weekend mornings) This is an interim solution as we attempt to bolster or skinny raiding ranks. Also Pugging is prohibited on the nights we raid as a Guild as we expect you to run with your guild. |

I have taken the time to update the guild rules. I suggest you take the time to re-read them as some important things (such as loot distribution) have changed. I brought an undergeared healer to Naxx on Thursday to try and get him some better gear. Boy, what a mistake that was. Not that its any fault of the person I brought in (I made the call after all), but it bacame painfully obvious very quickly why you HAVE to be geared to raid. We have made a push to try and help folk get the gear they need to assist with our raiding, but it seems that the majority of folk are not that interested in getting geared. Now I personally dont have a problem with this, after all, we remain a casual guild. However, dont complain when you are overlooked when it's raid time. That being said, we need more heals for raids. Any healers interested in raiding please talk to one of our raiding officers for help in getting the gear to help you become a productive part of our raiders. |

This Guild was founded for family and for friends. We have always tried our very best to do things together and experience the joy and love of the game together. Since the coming of the Wrath of the Lich king the World of Warcraft has changed, the dungeons and raids are different. Generally they follow the same method; we go in, kill bosses and receive loot. However with the release of Wrath of the Lich King, Blizzard decided to make Naxxarams the only multi boss dungeon (at least until Ulduar). We want everyone to be able to experience the most that you can inside the World of Warcraft. So we decided that at this time it would be in our family ‘s best interest to open the door to all 10 man raids (except Naxxramas) keeping the 25 man raids a guild only event. We also ask that you do not pug raids during our guilds weekly raid times (which are Wednesday and Thursday nights). With that in mind, it is up to you whether or not you choose to pug anything, but the opportunity is there for you. 4.3.09 After much gnashing of teeth our officers (at least most of them) decided that due to our skinny raiding nature, that we should open EVERYTHING except for 10 man Naxxaramas to pug. That includes 25 man Sarth, Nax and Maly. The only thing we ask is that you DO NOT PUG 10 man Nax as we will be running that on our Regularly scheduled raid nights (Weds/Thurs 8:30pm Server Time and 11:30am Server Time Weekend mornings) This is an interim solution as we attempt to bolster or skinny raiding ranks. Also Pugging is prohibited on the nights we raid as a Guild as we expect you to run with your guild. Keep in mind that not all members have the time to grind heroics and that they have limited time to enjoy the game. For for those players that have already gotten as far as they can with our current raiding rules this new development give them the opportunity to keep progressing, without consequences. Regardless if you have been in our guild one day or for many years, you will discover it’s not the loot we are after (at least it’s not our total focus), it is the good times and laughter that we share with our friends and family. It should not matter in any way who you are running your pugs with. You will represent a family guild. So let’s go out there and represent our families as we carry on with the new raid rules. I'd like to thank Kaboom for the original text (which I edited very little for clarity) |
